NWR: early christmas shopping

I know it sounds ridiculous but I got an e-mail that lenox is having a christmas in july sale, if anyone is interested here is the link

I cant even think of xmas right now, its summer!!! I like to procrastinate and buy the xmas stuff around xmas time

The Holidays come earlier and earlier every year.... I used to work for Hallmark and all our Christmas Merchandise was shipped to our store by July and we had to have a lot of it displayed by mid-August!

To be honest with you.. i would like to start soon... like hit big sale days & buy a few gifts each paycheck. i hate rushing around at the last minute.

haha- you sound like FH. He takes it so personally that Christmas is so commercialized and Hannukah is not. I'm like- dont look at me buddy- i dont make the rules- haha

We had a huge fight one season so I went out and bought a hannukah bush. I figured it will be nice to balance out the x-mas and hannukah visual for the kiddies later on. He is happy with it.

lol, I don't really get angry about it. FH printed out computer pictures of the hebrew hammer and made them into ornaments for our christmas tree.

He is a bad little Jewish boy- haha. He doesn't even want to light the Minorah most nights. I think I am more into it than him. B/c I get in trouble if I'm not into it and I want to learn so we can carry on his traditions to our kids. I bought Hannukah dish towels and stuff and asked his Mom for a hannukah candy dish (he got a Wii so I didn't really want them to get my anything big) And, I always send out Hannukah cards to his family and Christmas to mine.

We exchanged seperate Hanukkah and Christmas gifts our first year together, but after that, he wants to leave all of them for X-mas. (so not right ) I told him that this year, we have to acknowledge both equally and seperately.
