NWR: Easter Baskets

for those who celebrate Easter, are you giving your FH/FW an Easter Basket??

i have always given FH an Easter Basket but this year he is not getting one. he has been going to the dentist to get his teeth fixed & after spending all the money ($2,500 to date) i am not buying him candy.

so instead we are going to color Easter eggs & make a fancy basket for the house of brightly colored eggs.

Re: NWR: Easter Baskets

We used to do them all the time, but stopped 3 years ago when I joined WW. I'll still buy him Easter Pez and Peeps, but that's it.

I won't allow Easter baskets full of chocolate in my house anymore.

Re: NWR: Easter Baskets

usually I don't, but I had left over candy from making the easter baskets for his nieces and nephews and my friends kids, so i took the pails that were from our e-party and filled them with the candy and made the 'house' easter baskets

Re: NWR: Easter Baskets

We used to make baskets for each other with candy but not this year. I don't really need the candy. Plus we are saving and I hate when he buys gifts!!

Re: NWR: Easter Baskets

I used to make FH an easter basket with baked goods but now I just make baskets for his nephew and my cousin's kids. I will just bake something for FH to keep him happy so he won't steal his nephew's candy.

I agree...in the ten years we've been together I don't think getting him a easter basket ever crossed my mind

But it's a cute idea
