I have court today for a speeding ticket I got back in October.
I have to go to the Southampton courts for a pre-trial meeting with the DA where we will discuss a plea bargain. My record is 100% clean. I am praying they don't come down to hard on me.
Freaking more money out the window and possible insurance increase...
please send happy thoughts, that they go easy on me

No worries Mama! You are probably meeting with the DA so you can work out a lesser charge then speeding. IE: Sometimes No seatblet, stuff like that. You'll be fine but I am still praying for you!!!!!!!!

I hope so! That's what the letter said I am just hoping they drop it to something much less that's all. I mean the fine s ucks but I am more concerned about the points and the insurance increase

I think since you have nothing on your record, they will probably just make you pay a fine,..........I know it ***** but its totally better than points!!!

Good luck - that happened to me a few years ago.... I had a speeding ticket that they knocked down to an 'illegal door opening!' You will be fine!
