Anyone have one of these? we just got one off our registry...so I tried it out and when it stops, the liquid in the can spills out or even spits! I thought it was just what I was opening, so I started opening all different kinds of cans...they all spit or spill. Is this what is supposed to happen, or is mine defective?

i always hold the can, and kinda turn it a lil to make sure it doesnt splash..if its something i can drain i drain it about halfway into the opening process

I have one, I got it at my shower, its from BBB and it doesn't do that, I would return the one that you have because it shouldn't do that. I'm not sure the one that I have

ok, then I'm returning it. I don't think my counter is uneven, but I will check with a level. Now I have 5 open cans...crushed tomatoes, a cream of mushroom soup, etc...lol!

make somekind of soup...i can ask FH for a recipe if youd like...hes a chef!

Yes! I have crushed tomatoes, a mushroom soup, a can of corn, a can of tuna, and a can of pears in pear juice on the counter right now...I don't know how well the tuna and pears will fit in, FM me if you have an idea for the rest, besides sauce and caserole!

You can make tuna casserole with the tuna and mushroom soup- pears for dessert.
