NWR: Etsy

Hi girlies!!

Everyone on here always RAVES about their great finds on Etsy, but I have never gotten anything from there before. What's the best way to search to find things and how do you know you are getting good quality items from a seller??

I have used a lot of Etsy vendors. I just type in the search button what I am looking for. Sometimes it's 'bracelets', 'keychains', etc.

Each vendor has a rating, so that's what I look for first. If it is a first time vendor, I usually don't test them out. Some vendors are international and charge more for shipping. It is very easy to navigate throughout the site. But also read each thing well enough.

Post on 2011 board if you are looking for something wedding related, they may have a vendor that they used and can recommend to you.

To look for a specific seller, you can use the drop down list on the top, where it starts off with 'handmade'.

I think there is a wedding section. Not too sure


I just recently bought a wire hanger that says bride on it from there. Still waiting for it to come in the mail

I had a bad experience with etsy and now I'm afraid to even look on the site.

did you give the seller a bad review? i know a few girls on here have had problems with a certain seller, i wonder if its the same one.

The good thing about etsy is if you know a seller has had problems, you can find most likely a similar item from another seller.

There is a wedding section and that's usually how I search for things. I've never had a bad experience and all the vendors on there have been great to work with.

i got my save the dates there and I'm ordering my fingerprint tree guest book, cake topper, and heapeice on Etsy too! I always talk to the vendor before i order anything. That way you can get a feel for the person you will be working with. I have been really happy with everyone i have delt with so far!

i just search for what im looking for and then limit it by price, etc. you can tell if its a good seller by looking at their rating score! i ALWAYS make sure they have a high score before even considering using them; even then if it isnt 100% ill read through the reviews b/c even if there are only 5 out of 500 ppl complaining i wana see exactly why it went wrong (if, like, their packages never arrived i wont use them!).
