NWR- Ever have an ulcer?

Has anyone ever had an EGD for an ulcer? I went to a gastro today b/c I was in bad pain and he thinks it's an ulcer. While I'm relieved that the test requires sticking something down my throat (as opposed to up my a$$), I'm still a little nervous. Has anyone been through an EGD?
