NWR: ewwww-peeling

I am peeling like crazy from my sunburn that I got on Saturday and it's totally grossing me out. Ugh-how do I make it stop!!! Gross.

keep moisturizing and gently exfoliate.
I've been sun blocking myself so I don't burn before the wedding.

Yeah that was my plan but I was working outside all day over the weekend and didn't reapply enough. Now I have the utimate dorky tan lines. Oh well.

don't go in the sun anymore...it is very bad for you!!!

I know. I'm so pasty! I burn so easily. I'm worried about how I'm going to avoid it in the DR when we go on our honeymoon since the sun is stronger there.

I never tried this for peeling, only for sunburn and it porevents teh peeling so you may want to try....
boil some water (cup or two) and put about 3-4 teabags in it. Let it sit out on the counter all day until it becomes cool. Then use the tea bag as a compress....make sure you have an old towel around and an old shirt because it may stain, I think its best to do while in the shower....but it cools your skin, browns it and prevents peeling.

I hate that peeling too! I had a bad sunburn earlier this season and it was so gross. At one point FH and I were watching TV and this little thing lands on FH's face...IT WAS SKIN FROM ME PEELING! EW! He was not pleased, lol!

Also, don't do what I did...
I had been peeling very badly and it looked like I was less tan where I had peeled. So me being the genius I am went tanning...The parts that peeled then looked doubly as tan as the rest as me. I looked like camouflage. It wasn't pretty, lol!
