NWR: EYE

i sleep with my contacts usually ( i knwo its bad..bu it is what it is) but lately ive been taking them out like a good lil girl.

yesterday i decided to wear glasses the entire day. myeyes have been tearing non stop . at night my left eye got worse ..blood shot red and i kept waking up cuz i felt like pencil shavings were in it. this morning after i took a shower i put contact in..they felt great.. but afer 15 min i couldnt take it. my left eye started hurting again. so now i have 1 contact in, 1 contact out. its soo red and the pain is unbearable..the tears wont stop coming down. i would wear my glasses but they were messed up from day 1 ( the lenses are popped out so i see everything all weird) i never got them fixed cuz im lazy.

i guess im just venting. oh i wont go to the doc cuz everytime i go they say theres like 10 things wrong wth me and its all bs. and then im guna think i have cancer or something.. so i just avoid going

OMG That suckssss I am always having eye issues with my contacts and my glasses

I was just telling Jason yesterday how lucky he is to have perfect vision as my right contact popped out of my eye for know reason

ugh contacts s*ck. That used to happen to me all the time. You should get lasiks, best thing everrr.

i know how u feel. i sleep with them in for like weeks at time , lol. i know its terrible but i hate putting contacts in and out. i hate when a lil black dot of mascara or eyeliner gets in my eye and whenever i put contacts in it always feels like theres a freakin fuzzy on them , lol. i would love to get the lasik but im scared.

i never sleep with mine in because when i do, i wake up and my eyes get all crusty (gross i know) like i have pink eye. although i've been lazy lately and just wearing glasses.

I used to wear contacts all the time years ago. But I could never go through the entire day, without them bothering me. Now I just use them for special occasions. I wear my glasses most of the time.

waitt I just read this again, dont avoid going to the doc for too long! You dont want to get an infection. If its still bad tomorrow I say go to doctor, dont mess around with your eyes!

seriously Barb, my SIL had a similar problem just to find out she had a metal fiber in her eye. who would've thunk it

This happened to me once because my contact had torn and wasn't sitting right on my eye, it felt like glass cutting my eye, hurt sooo bad, check the edges of your contact lens and make sure it's not torn/cut/misshapen.

My friend also had similar problems and she had an eye infection, I would pry those contacts out and get to an eye doctor pronto!

It sounds like you might have a piece of the contact stuck on your eye. Try to take a look at the contact and see if it looks ripped. that happened to me once. I sleep in mine too and for days on end. Hope you feel better!

its def not the contacts cuz ive been taking them out and my right eye is fine. just the left where the clump of ......................BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

I also hate going to the doctor, but you definitely shouldn't avoid going for too long...eye stuff is tricky, and you don't want to do serious damage!
