NWR - Eyebrows

NWR - Eyebrows

So I just wanted to give a heads up to girls who get their eyebrows done - I have been getting mine done for almost 10 years now and had been swearing by threading. I had a bad waxing incident and never went back to it. Well I started realizing that my eyebrows had lost their shape and there was no longer any arch. I started going to Heba at Anastasia Brow Studio at the Sephora in Times Square - she is PHENOMENAL. In just over three months my eyebrows look great. They are getting their natural arch back and growing in perfectly. They use wax but it hasn't made me break out or anything (and i have super sensitive skin). Just wanted to let you girls know. It's worth the $30 . They use a stencil to outline your natural arch so it frames your face perfectly. Heba is awesome And I only go every 5-6 weeks now or so instead of every 2 .

I stopped waxing years ago, cause its not 'healthy' and makes your eyes puffy (so I've been told).. I get threaded... except the girl that took over the shop by me totally SU CK S! she messed up my left brow- BAD and didn't say anything... I tried growing it in.. but this one spot just wont grow in. so I went to the 'good' place by me and she cleaned me up, but I did notice that I didn't have an 'arch'.. she said she didn't want to take away too much because of how thin my brows are (they really are thin) and because of that spot. so I've been filling it in with a pencil.

but I really need them cleaned up again. I might just get them waxed.. I just DK.

Funny this came up- My eyebrow girl sold her place a few months ago and I cant find someone who I like. yesterday was the worse. Went to get it done near work and the Biatch burnt me so badly that i had a damn blister. Now today its all raw. I need to find someone soon!

I use to go them all the time when I could afford to splurge the $30 and they are great. Now I just do threading since it only like $6 but I wouldn't mind going back to them for the wedding.

am I the only person who actually does their own eyebrows? lol

I tweeze mine. I think bc I have fine hair it doesn't hurt.

I had to grow mine out and they are still in the process of getting there - but she is worth it. People seriously ask me where I get my eyebrows done all the time.

But my hair's not fine... it's THICK. And it still doesn't hurt. Sometimes I force FH to let me do his.

SAME!! Or his sister starts bugging him about how the brows are growing together and he asks me to do it! Then complains about it. Babies.
