Re: NWR: Fat Free Mozzarella

it sux!!! i bought some last week, and by itself it's pretty awful! i made whole wheat pasta w/ meat sauce this week (core food!) and added a little to my pasta last night, and in the pasta it was OK.

this week i'm doing better, the scale has moved down, but i keep cheating a little here and there. like i got a tossed salad for lunch, then got a piece of bread (very small) w/ butter to eat w/ it, and i have no more points.

how are you doing? are you going on sat?

I feel like I was really struggling getting back on the wagon. I'm on program today, but I don't know what the scale will do.

This is the last weekend that I have plans on a saturay LOL. I didn't go last week so I have to go on Friday I think I cheat a little too. I have salad for lunch, but boycott FF dressing - I have low fat, the rebel that I am!!!

my salad was a mix of FF and lite italian. and i'm not counting it! but i will stick w/ core for now on. my problem is that i use all 35 of my points on the weekends i try to take a walk to earn a point for a snack, then i give myself another snack point just for fun

it's better to go and face the scale. i knew i had a bad week last week, and i was OK w/ the plus. seeing in on paper will keep you more disciplined next week. at least that works for me

Coleen, I read the subject, didn't even see that you posted it and i just said 'YUCK'. Fat free cheese just aren't the best AND they don't melt.

I didn't have a great day on monday b/c I was moving my office To CT and wasn't happy but other than Monday, I've been on the wagon, of course it's not showing on the scale for some reason but I am definitely making the effort.

Me too! I've been doing soooo well. I did core the first week and lost 5.6, I did flex the 2nd week but had my period and i didn't go. I did flex last week and was perfect and was up.6 on Saturday, this week i'm doing core again EXCEPT for my huge slip up on Monday...i think I ate Carbs all day, not a lot just all day. but have been back on so hopefully it will show on Saturday. I am going, possibly to the 730am (it's busy at that time) but more likely to the 9am. Tina are you going?

Me too! I have to go to the meetings. If I don't see it on paper and have someone staring me in the face, it doesn't work.

same here. there's something very motivating about handing your weigh-in book over, and having the person congratulate you over your 0.6 lb lost! it's totally psychological, but it keeps me going. you also do get some good ideas from others at the meeting.
