NWR: Fax help!!!!!

So I just got a fax machine/printer. I set it up and now I need a fax number...do I call my phone company? Is it extra? Help! How do I get a fax number? Can I send out faxes without a fax number? TIA

Re: NWR: Fax help!!!!!

if u get another phone line from the phone company it will be more $$.

if you get a splitter to put in the phone jack in the wall, you can use the same # as your regular home #. that's what we do.
