So my FH is going to be 30 on Wednesday. its a big birthday for him and we don't have the money to go away or for me to throw him a party so I bought him Yankee tickets for the game at Yankee Stadium on Friday against Boston. He knows about the game because I wanted his opinion about when we were going to the game. I was thinking of also trying to get his name up on the scoreboard. I checked the website and they charge $10 for your message to be put up there but they can't garantee that it will make it up there. Do you think I should still try even though Im not sure if it will get up there? Do you think I should offer them more money to see if it can definitely be put up there? The only other option is to pay $100 to have it announced and put up on the board but I don't really want to pay $100

def try! that would be awesome. but then you'd have to stare at the board the whole time!
too bad you can't pay more and guarantee it would be up there and pick a specific inning!

They do it during the 6th inning so at least we don't have to keep looking at the scoreboard all night!
