is it just my FH. please tell me its not before i lose my mind. you think i would be used to him after living with him for over a year. he is sooo cranky this week. its one excuse after the other..crazy at work, so tired (he works nites by his choice). blah blah. helllooo.... you are not the only one who has it tough ! My alarm starts going off around 4:30, i commute at least 2 hours a day back and forth to manhattan. Right now i waiting for the ball to drop at my job. in the financial industry & things arent't good. do i come home every day cranky?!! i try to leave my problems at work. i know i am not always in a great mood.. i think you get the picture.
why is that women seem to handle stress better than men?? when i come home i don't get a chance to relax & unwind! come to think of it... i don't remember the last time i did that right after work.
Anybody else's FH very moody?? or am i the only one thats blessed. So help me God if he is like this tomorrow .. i will kick him to the curb

i think a lot of men are like that. I was going to say 'all men' but I know someone would disagree lol
anyway... my dad, never came home cranky that i can remember, but i know that when he came home from work he got to 'relax' where as when my mom came home she had to cook.
and when my FH comes home from work he needs to 'relax' but when i was working 12 hour days i'd come home and have to clean...
it seems that men just can't hack it the way we can. Women are stronger than men, they get the muscles, but we get the real strength... you know?

Same here....FH and I got into a big fight this past weekend because he is not always cranky but a big baby about everything. He complains about work all the time and its always on Sundays since he has to go back the next day.....im like OMG things could be worse. HE worries and complains about such little things. I try and look at the bigger picture.
Guys are sooo moody and they say we are the difficult ones!!! HA!

don't get me wrong. i do my share of complaining ... at work but i don't bring it home. i'm not perfect...but like you said things could be worse. i sometimes stop myself & be grateful i have job.... for now at least. At least he is protected by the union.

Re: NWR - FH Rant
I could have posted the same story. Although FH and I leave for work at the same time, he gets home 2 1/2 hours before I do. He has time to go to happy hour, play video games, take a nap, watch tv, whatever! I come home and have to deal w/ his cranky self? I should be the cranky one after having to deal w/ the train.
Chicks really do handle stress better!
Don't worry, it's not just you!

They think because they're doing physical labor our work is easier. FH has a no stress job. I wish!

Re: NWR - FH Rant
my FH either complains, sulks or pouts, or some combo of these three things. i finally told him that if he wants to complain about work, to find someone else to complain to because he was ruining my day. he's gotten better about it for now...

Re: NWR - FH Rant
i dont live with FH yet but i know that for about a half hour after he gets home he is OFF LIMITS i barely say hello to him if we are together
if i give him that time to relax then he is much more helpful and relaxed the rest of the night
if i bug him right away, forget it - the world is over

Re: NWR - FH Rant
he thinks the world has to stop in the middle of the day cos he has to go sleep.. Helloooo nobody told you to take the midnight shift.
at least he admits he is cranky when he doesn't get his sleep
