This has me so upset! this happened not far from where I live and me and my brother were getting dinner when we saw a crazy fire. Whe I saw the firefighters sewing through the house I knew it was not good. It was a two family home and the family upstairs lost their son just 8 yrs old
I cant even go to those sites....i always hate hearing about kids...
My ER (adult) has the ambulance bay right outside, and the peds er is a little farther down the hall. So i was working tuesday and we hear overhead 'pediatric medical notification'...and everyone's heart skips a beat. Then the EMS comes though our doors and heads to the peds er....doing CPR on a (maybe) 10year old little girl....never a good sign. All the other doctors basically said a little prayer and shock their heads.
We found out later she didnt make it....not sure of the full story.
