NWR FI's Birthday

My FI's birthday is coming up and I wanted to do something special and fun for him. I was thinking of maybe something in the city. This is what I got so far. His birthday is on November 19th (its a Sunday) but I have class on Lexington Ave in Manhattan all day 10-6, So I was thinking of Taking him to the city on Saturday doing something fun (haven't figured that out yet) and maybe spending the night at a hotel.!?? Any Suggestions would be Great!!

It depends on what you guys are into!

If it were me and my FI, I'd take him to a wine bar because we're really into wine... or maybe to a show. I haven't seen the Blue Man Group, but I've heard the show is fantastic!

If you're into jazz, there are some great jazz clubs that have dinner, too... though not being that into jazz, I haven't been to many of them!

A yummy but $$$ restaurant...... Asia de Cuba. So yummy. They make really good Mojitos. Or if you like funky there is Yaffa Cafe. They make really good apple pie (and they give out condoms when you pay ).

You should try to get a room at the Crown Plaza or Renaissance, because they have awesome views of Times Square.

That way if you wanted to see a show you're already in the area.

Top of the Rock is supposed to be amazing too.
