I use the Chi and I love it! I bought it on Ebay for like $60 when the regular price is like $120.

CHI irons are very good, but pricey. JC Penney sells them, so wait till there's a sale and bring a coupon and you get alot taken off. Also, if you buy it at Penney's, if anything happens to the iron at any time after you buy it, you can exchange it or get your moey back very easily. You can also go to Sally's Beauty supply and buy a knock off of it, which my friend did and she is really happy with it. Also, Hot Tools newer irons are great. They have ones with purple plates and a new one I beielive with silver plates. They're over $50, but do a great job. Make sure you get a ceramic or tourmaline iron. They are great at keeping a shine in your hair and not burning it to death. HTH

I've been devoted to my CHI for like 7 years. It doesn't damage my hair at all.
