hi ladies...I am going to a concert at Jones Beach this week. I live out east, so am taking the train to Merrick or Freeport. FH works west, so he'll get me and we'll go. My question is....is there somewhere close-ish to there that we can get a quick bite to eat before the show? **I do not know the area up there at all..so pls humor me!!

on Merrick Road and Hewlett (I believe) is La Piazza! Yummy! It's probably 3/4 mi from the Merrick train station....theres also a ton of stuff North of Sunrise by the Merrick train station.

There are TONS of restuarants on Sunrise by the Merrick train station. Grillfire is always a good pick. There are also a lot of places on Merrick Avenue just north of the train station.
If you want to go down by the water, in Freeport there's the Nautical mile with tons of seafood restaurants.
