NWR: for anyone who has pets....

NWR: for anyone who has pets....

If you've ever had to give them pills, this is a lifesaver.

Pill Pockets

Basically it's like a hollowed out treat the consistency of play dough that you can put the pill in, close it up, and your pet will eat it w/out a problem.

One of my kitties is on antibiotics and I was dreading giving her a pill/day for 2 weeks until the vet gave us some samples. This is seriously the best thing ever.

Hope this helps someone else!

they are great. my parents use them for their dogs for their joint meds and my dog had them last week when after he had his wee wee operation. i buy them off pet edge for $4.99 for 35 little ones.

petsmart had them for $6.99 a bag of 45 but if you buy in bulk online (if you need them long term) you can get them cheaper.

Also, someone posted in the reviews that the dog ones are more expensive and less in a bag than the cat ones, but her dog likes the cat ones just as much (if you need the small size). She uses the cat chicken ones to save $$$

My cat wont go near them.

After he figured it out (it took him once), I can't even give them to him anymore WITHOUT a pill in it....

Thanks for the advice! Sounds like a plan I wish I knew this when I was trying to give my cat her medication, the only way she'd take it was rolled up in a piece of Soppressta, lol FH's genius idea. But she out smarted that too after day 3.
