NWR: Forest Hills Girls - Colorist Recommendation?

Hey Queens Girls - I want to get my hair colored/highlighted before the big day, but don't have anyone in the new area that I've been to...and really don't want to go to my haircut place in Manhattan to pay a fortune to get it done. Have any salon recommendations and anyone I should ask for that you KNOW does a great job? Thanks in advance!

OK, its in Astoria (30th ave and 35th street) but the colorist is Awesome!!! Her name is Flo and the salon is called Redken-Saloon ... its redken licenesed and they only used their prodcuts. I have been going there for a while and they are very, very good.. the inside of the salon is very city-chic. FM for prices and info if you want

I cant remember the name of it to save my life.. sorry .. but I used to go to this place on Austin Street in Forest Hills to get my hair highlighted and they were really good. It is by Porto Fino resturant (which is on Queens Blvd) but more up towards austin street. I am sure I just confused you even more and I am sorry!

I will think of the name and get back to you. I think it started with an M

yeah the salon just has a BIG M on the window. I think officially the name is somebodys name whose last name starts with an M. But its right across the street from the church and right on a corner.

Yes, they are awesome! Flo for color and Melissa or Alex for haircuts... they are super good. There is another man, who is gay and soooooo nice! I dont remember his name but he is GREAT colorist too!!!
