So I had my gall bladder removed at the end of January and all day I've had pain similar to what I had in the week before I had it removed, accompanied by some back pain.
I talked to my dad, who is a doctor, and he said that I shouldn't assume that it is a stone forming in what is left of the bile duct but I am freaking out!

Same thing happened to me after I had my gallbladder out! It is usually stones in the bile duct or just gravel that is left... To be safe, go to you doctor (who did the surgery) or to your Gastroenterologist Good luck and Feel better!

Yeah, my dad said that if it keeps up I should have another sonogram done to see if there is anything there.
PS - Being a date twin is cool but did we have to be surgery twins too?!

Yes you should def do that if you are still feeling this way for another day or so...

I'm not sure. I read online that they try to do the same thing that they do to break up kidney stones but I also read that they stick something down your throat and into your bile duct.

ugh..well the only thing i can say i\s you'll be knocked out for that. i had an endoscopy and my throat wasn't even sore when i woke up.

uh oh! i hope you feel better!!! speaking of gallbladders- i need to have mine removed too! surgery is set for 11/23. i hope i dont feel this pain anymore! been to 2 mris and 2 ultrasounds (and been waiting for 2 months now!!)
