NWR- FRIEND PROBLEM

I was once friends with this girl and she and I stopped talking becuase I was dealing with 2 sick parents. Eventually we became friends again, around the time I meet my FH, she got involved with this guy named Steve and blew us all off. I always make time for my friends, and she broke mp wth the guy, and I was very involved with FH, and dealing with 1 sick parent. My mom had passed away already. My true friends were there for me but his girl was not. She insisted that I was always busy with FH, when all I was doing was taking my dad to doctors, and trying to squeeze in my friends and seeing FH , working , and grad school. Well, to make a long story short, she found out my dad passed away and felt bad but that was it. Well, out of nowhere she called one of my good friends today after a year and a half, and wants to sit and talk , I do not know what to do if she calls me, part of me wants to tell her how much she hurt me and to brush her off, I have since found out who my real friends are, and part of me wants to find out why she was such a !@#$% to me. What would you do? Sorry this is so long and complictaed.

Re: NWR- FRIEND PROBLEM

I think you already have your answer. You know who your true friends are. They are the ones who have been there for you in all times: good and bad, not just when it is convenient for them. If you feel that you need to talk to her then do so, but I would be upfront with her and tell her how she hurt you, and that you are glad it ended up like this because it was a lot easier for you to see who is really important in your life... that now you have new things to focus on, like starting a new life with your husband. Good luck and stay strong. You've got some amazing angels watching over you and I know you'll be OK no matter what happens. My best, Leslie
