NWR - Furniture Opionions

Ok so here is my dining room table

here is the coffee we think we have decided on

My first question is do you think it is marble overboard or it doesn't really matter?? The funny thing is everything i like has marble on it - even the bedroom set I liked FH vetoed that because we are not Tony Soprano he says

My second question is - if we get the table we plan on getting a small glass entertainment thing just to put picture frames on and the cable box - something small - the tv is going on the wall. do you think that is going to look bad, the glass unit and the marble table?

if you like the marble then go for it! i don't think it matters they are both nice pieces of furniture. And the TV would def be okay on the wall, i've seen it many times at other's houses before it looks fine... good luck and congrats!

I like everything...I think the small table to put the cable box and picture frames will look great...I've seen it in some houses....we'll probably do the same thing...tv on the wall and the small table...

by the way...I love the dining room table... It's so nice!

very nice, im a fan of marble (obviously, russo's is my rh lol) so i like the coffee table, and the tv on the wall looks good ive seen it in my friends home saves a lot of space, i think a glass little table would look fine with it

try to look fora coffee table with glass and marble. ive seen it before. and i think it will tie everything together NICELY!

my coffee table is glass with a stone border. i know ive seen marble and glass. i thiink that would be best

i like your table and coffee table. we have our tv on the wall and then we have a table with the cable box and stuff. I think the glass unit will go fine with the marble

I love marble, so I definatly don't think its so much!! I think with the tv on the wall...and the glass, everything will look fine!

Not a fan of the marble - its a bit much JMO but then again I have a totally different taste for decor...

I think they look great Rita, and I think a glass table under the tv for cables boxes, etc. would be fine.

Just an FYI though - with marble you have to be really careful not to drop anything.....dishes, glasses, etc. They'll shatter IMMEDIATELY. Oh and if your marble gets scratched....it's NEVER coming out.
