I am looking for living room furniture and bedroom furniture at decent prices... since we JUST closed on the house and we need to save some money for the mortgage... any suggestions?!?!

The Place on route 110.. which also has a location in Carle Place.
And my absolute favorite... based on customer service, selection and price.. is Raymour Flannigan!

levitz in lake grove is going out of business all clearance so you can't return, but very affordable.

BOBS on Rt 110 Farmngdale. they have such good quality and great prices. We bought the poof couches and they are so comfy and sturdy.

i have a kitchen set and sofas from Bob's and they are fabulous. plus they have a great 'goof proof' warranty for 5 yrs

We bought our couch from Macy's and couldn't be happier. It was actually the last place that we went to because we thought it would be too expensive, but we were wrong. Not only was it much better quality than any of the other couches that we saw at Levitz, Bob's, Ramour, etc. but it was actually cheaper with the sale that we got. I don't trust any of these other stores. At least you know with Macy's they will back you. What good is a 5 year warranty gonna do if the store goes out of business! (Yeah...this happened to us with a table we bought at Levitz just before they went bankrupt)

Bob's is a great option! FH and I just went to tons of stores along 110 and found our stuff. I would recommend doing that...there are great deals everywhere and you get lots of options

we just got a sofa, love seat, chair and ottoman (sp) from Levits. Pics in my album GREAT DEAL!!! Hurry and go. the prices drop everyday!

GO TO ASHLEY HOME STORE ON GLEN COVE ROAD, RIGHT PAST OLD COUNTRY!!!!!!!! BIG SALE TILL JAN 28TH.JUST GOT MY COUCHES, WHAT A DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ALSO JENNIFER CONVERTABLES IS GOOD!!!!
AND U COULD SEE ALL THESE THINGS WITHIN BLOCKS OF EACH OTHER IN CARLE PLACE. THOMASVILLE HAD SOME GOOD STUFF TOO, A LITTLE MORE PRICEY. AND LEVITZ IS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS, BUT THEY TRIED TO SELL ME FLOOR MODELS. FM IF YOU WANT I WENT COUCH SHOPPING FOR LIKE 3 WEEKS.
BEDROOM I HAVE SO I WASNT REALLY LOOKING, ASHLET HAD, SO DID THE PLACE AND RAYMOR I THINK

i went to levitz and they have very little left..so i wouldn't recommend there..try bobs discount furniture on rt 110 in farmingdale...they had a lot of nice stuff!

jacob and corrine furniture, hempstead tpke corner of sacred heart. i don't even think it says jacob and corrine on the outside...they also go by a&s or R&S can't remember...i think it was a red or burgundy banner...we got our furniture there...it looks like a dinky lil store but they have so much more than whats on display and SUPER CHEAP! for 1 full sofa, love seat and pull up convertible coffee table it was 1300
I'd show you a pic of my couch but the pic is me on the couch and I'm a lil drunk...and trying to pose sexy in my mini skirt, but its brown microfiber and has pillows that have this bluish green striped fabric.

Bassett furniture on 110. You can get great sales there. It's not cheap though but the quality is excellent. I just bought a bedroom set there. they will come to your house and measure and help you with the layout.
