NWR: future brother in law
ususally dont post nwr topics but this one I cant seem to figure out if I am overreacting or not..My FHs brother is in the navy and he has been away for a couple months ..we heard he came home but he wasnt calling any of his family members back..so my FMIL was getting kind of aggravated and worried at the same time..So i sent my FHs nephew a message on my space and told him that if his father is around that we are all trying to reach him (that was 3 days ago) so anyway last night my FH was outside and we had a bunch of people over and his phone rang..i saw that it was a number that we didnt recognize so i picked it up and said 'hello' the response was 'is tom there?' I recognized it was my FHs brother and I said 'HEY Its Nicole!' and his response was'yeah..is Tom THERE?'..so i handed my FH the phone and that was it..now I was a little offended especially since they didnt even call to rsvp to our engagement party ( i knew they werent coming through my FMIL) but it was the point..and no card no nothing..so I made the effort to try to get him to call my FH ( i saw that it was getting my FH upset that he wasnt calling back) and then I dont even get a simple hello or congrats ..SO i told my FH what happened and hes like what would you like me to do ?? got very defensive about it .. (he is VERY protective of his family) and long story short after a half hour of going back and forth he was like 'ok i will talk to my brother and see why he said that but you're not going to tell me what to say to him..i will let you know what happens after i speak with him.'..So i said ok and went to bed still kind of mad and woke up this morning im still fuming but dont really want to start a fight .. Am I overreacting or should i say something again to my FH bc it is really bothering me!!! ![]()
