NWR: Girls that have been to Puerto Rico

I am going with 3 girlies for a long weekend in June to Puerto Rico.
However I just noticed that there are 3 different airports and one side of the island is facing the Atlantic Ocean & The other is facing the Caribean Sea.
We were going to fly to San Juan & get a hotel there but It seems that thats the side that is facing the AO.
Is it beautiful anyway?
ANy opinions?

Yes it's gorgeous...you'll probably be staying on the Isla Verde strip which is right on the beach and that's where most of the clubs are in the hotels. It's also not that far from Old San Juan, which has alot of amazing restaurants and dancing. You will have an fabulous time!

we went to puerto rico at the end of march beginning of april and had a awesome time, we flew into san juan and said at the intercontiental hotel, which was really nice. Everything was great the hotel, the service the pool, the beach no complaints.

the hotel is in the Isla Verde strip , there is about 5 hotels in the strip right on the beach, there are a ton of clubs and restaurants in the hotel also in the area. most hotel have casino in them too. you are also not to far from old san juan and the bacardi factory, and a ton of other things

Yes...we stayed by Old San Juan...I think Jet Blue goes there now. Go to the restaurant Aquavivas! Also go to Lupis...awesome!!!

I stayed at the Ritz. You cant go wrong and all the hotels are no joke a 3 minute ride from the airport.
