Some of my friends and I are trying to plan a weekend for 'the girls' at the end of June, but we are not sure what to do. Anyone have any ideas for a girls weekend that is not longer then maybe a 3 hour drive??

How about the Hamptons, Fire Island, or driving up to one of the Vineyards and going wine tasting - or take the ferry to CT and got to Mohegan Sun.

Montauk would be nice...and they have that great SPA Gurney's that I heard was fabulous.

All of the ones listed above are good ideas.
I was also thinking of Newport, RI, Boston, Jersey Shore, or even just a girl's weekend in the city.

It depends what you're looking for.
Beachy - Montauk, Hamptons, Fire Island, Jersey Shore, Westerly (RI), Cape Cod, Block Island, Shelter Island (very quiet, laid back)
Shopping/Dining/Spa - Newport, Vermont, New Hampshire
Casino - Foxwoods, Mohegan, Atlantic City
