so ive had a tattoo on my ankle for 5 years and very randomly after a shower it gets so itchy and when i feel it, its all raised as if i just had it done and is gone by the end of the day... does this happen to anyone else? should i go and have it checked??

i have a tattoo on my forearm and it sometimes raises like that i think its normal because FHs does it sometimes too so i wouldnt worry about it

my ankle tattoo doesn't do that, but my back one does every now and then.
I think its fine, just put some lotion on it so it stops itching

thanks.. its just so weird i have 4 tattoos and thats the only one that does it.. and it gets crazy itchy.. werid.. but i guess its normal!

happens to mine too, i think more when it's been exposed to heat (ie, hot water). i just put some lotion on it, and it's fine.

Happens to me too! I just put lotion on it and that stops the itchiness.

yeah fh has many.. and they all get bumpy after teh shower. .. i tease him that his body will peel off.. lol
but to me its normal.. it always happens to him.

All of mine do that and it used to freak me out and I spoke to my artist and he said its normal. Just keep it moisturized and it should be fine

that happens to me too i put some lotion on it and it usually feels better

The one on my back does it. I find it does it when my tag on my undies rubs up against it. and it drives me nuts!!!!

happens to mine too usually if i wear tight clothes or take a really hot shower or its really humid out, i would say its normal reaction
