has anyone ever heard of this place...fh and i were gonna go check out an apartment but i just read some horrid reviews online...i just never know if those things are for real....they are all posted anonymously so who knows who writes them. just thought maybe someone knows someone that lives there....thanks!

Yes......it's on brewster (Forest Ave) name changes once you go one block up from the firehouse.
I grew up in Glen Cove and my family is still there. I'm not sure how how that place is these days but it used to be very nice place.
It's very close to the downtown area so movies and retails stores are right acorss the street.
Glen Cove is pretty far north and the traffic can be a pain these days at rush hour if you have to drive to LIE but it is a great city (Glen Cove & Long Beach are only cities on LI with own police and fire dept). Lots of amazing parks and beaches that you can use as a GC resident.
