NWR Good Contractor Recommendations?

We're thinking about putting a hole in our kitchen wall with a counter and some bar stools, to make our apartment galley kitchen look bigger.

We probably should wait til after the wedding but I really want to do it now....we have no clue what the price range will be...

Any recommendations for contractors willing to come to Queens, oh and they also have to be licensed and insured since we live in a co-op. I really want to go from personal recommendations for this kind of stuff.

Thanks!!!

A good contractor will consult with a structural engineer/architect for this kind of work.

The walls could be load bearing and the design of the cut out may have to be modified or not be able to be done entirely.

I'll double check to see if the contractor I know is familiar with this type of work. FM me if you'd like his info.
