NWR - Good News!!

I just found out today that my sister is pregnant! This is excellent news but also comes with some much needed I'll try to make a long story short. My sis got married in July 2005, she is 23 and DH is 38. Notice the age diff. Anyway because of this they were anxious to get started on having children. To everyones surprise she got pregnant on the HM in Hawaii. But she lost the baby at about three months. This was extremely devatsating to us all. She was to be due on Easter. So this has been a very difficult time for her. After the initial time to much of anyones surprise she found out she was pregnant immediately after having her DNC and not even getting her period. Again shock and amazement!!! She carried to little more than three months and then she once again lost the baby a week before Christmas. So as we are all happy everyone, especially her, are extremely nervous and apprehensive. So keep us in mind and if everyone says a prayer for this new baby he/she will be okay! This new baby will be due on Christmas 2006! and if it is a girl will be Grace Noel.

Has she gotten checked for this blood disorder thing that makes women miscarry? I forgot what it was called, I think something with an R, woman who have this must take a medication in order to carry the child. If she hasn't checked into this I would. If she has then I wish her much luck!

Has she gotten checked for this blood disorder thing that makes women miscarry? I forgot what it was called, I think something with an R, woman who have this must take a medication in order to carry the child. If she hasn't checked into this I would. If she has then I wish her much luck!

They discovered that both times she miscarried it was a chromosomal disorder. She saw a genetic counselor and had a bunch of tests including two DNC's. Im not sure if she had that one. But they told her that there is nothing wrong...it was a one in a million chance...both times.
