NWR: Good Samaritan

I feel great right now

Went shopping tonight and found a lost purse on the side of my parking space

turned it into the police and just got a call from the lady thanking me profusely for turning it in

She sounded very sweet and like a little old lady and I feel real good right now by having done the honest thing


So when youre down in the dumps worried about cash or wedding stress, try doing something charitable----it really works!

Good for you...God helps those that helps others! What a great gal!

Isn't it a wonderful feeling?? You must be so happy knowing she can breathe easy now because of you!

Oh jeeze...I just realized how it sounds like Im bragging about myself

I totally didnt mean it in a 'look at what a great person I am' type of way


I just want to suggest that we all go out and do a good deed to help others

It does not sound like you are bragging about yourself!!! You did a wonderful thing and for people who work with the public and see how random acts of kindness are in the decline its refreshing to see. I had a really bad day with some really nasty customers and it made me smile to see what you did. I think its awesome!
