I've been going to this place by me to have dresses fitted... but I'm not convinced she knows what she's doing...
I bought a dress for my bridal shower and it was too big, I had her take it in and it was still too big. She took it in again... and now it's too tight.
I want to have it hemmed a little anyway, so I'm hoping I can find a seamstress that can hem it and use the material from the bottom to let it out a tiny bit?? Does anyone know anyone who's skilled enough to do all that??
I'm in Queens, Howard Beach area.
TIA!!

Re: NWR: Good seamstress?
Yes! There's a woman in forest hills who's a magician. A friend used her but I don't recall the name? I.ll try to get it but another Queens bride may know her name and jump in...
