i am taking the GRE tomorrow (graduate record exam). for those who have taken it, what info do i need to have my scores sent to the grad schools i want?? i have a list of the 4 schools and towns, but do i need specific codes or anything like that? i tried calling and emailing GRE, but that didn't work. please let me know! thanks, lacey ps i am freaking out about this test!!! i had all these big plans to study this summer...and then i got engaged and i have had wedding on the brain, which got in the way of my study time lol. wish me luck.

I dont remember but about the GRE dont stress, it was not harder than taking the SAT.

It was pretty much a test on common sense! You will do fine! I can't remember exactly how to enter the schools, but I know you can also send the scores at a later date so try not to worry about that!

I LOATHED that exam. it was harder than I expected and VERY long. The worst art was we had to take a mandatory 'test' section but they didnt tell us which one counted and which didnt.
The thing is with the computer based test, if you get the first couple wrong they make the test easier and then the chance for a higher score diminishes. I bought the GRE for dummies book and it went through how getting the first couple of each section right is really important.

awesome, thanks! thats what i was hoping for.
i bought the kaplan and barrons review books, however, i didn't motivate myself to use them as much as i should have.
i don't think i like the concept of computer adaptive tests...i think i would rather take the same test as everyone else.

When you begin taking the test, you will enter your info. on the computer and it will ask you what schools you want to send it to... You can just pick by name, I don't remember having to enter the code....It will then automatically send them to those schools... In the future, you can always order additional score sheets if you want to send it to additional schools... Good luck!!!
