NWR - Great Workout! PodFitness

My cousin's fiancee recommended PodFitness to me - have you ever heard of it? It's a website with over 80 personal trainers, and you put in some info, and they design a workout for you to listen to you on your iPod. It's like working out with a personal trainer who gives you instructions through your iPod. Best thing, though: they sync up the workouts with your music in iTunes. So you listen to whatever music you choose as you work out. It costs $20 a month, but I have a promo code that gets you the first month free. You can download 2 workouts a day and keep them forever, so I figure I'll just download 40 or 50 different workouts, and then cancel my subscription before I have to pay.

I did my first workout today - it was really cool. I chose to do 'cardio strength training' - so the trainer had me do 5 minutes on the treadmill at 3.5 to warm up, then I did a series of planks for my abs (she talks you through it if you don't know how to do it), then alternating upper-body and lower-body free weights exercises, then back to the mat for crunches and stretching. I felt so invigorated afterwards! I was in kind of a rut at the gym - had my routine and always did the same thing - this is so much fun, I don't see how I could get bored. There are 80 different trainers to choose from, and each has different workouts - one for walking, running, elliptical, pilates, yoga, strength training, etc.

I've only done this once so far, but now I'm actually excited to go back to the gym tomorrow and try out another one.

Anyway, here's the site for the 30-day trial:
