Re: NWR: gyno recommendations

Pffft, good luck.

I hate Queens.

I'm still looking for a new one myself who I'd be willing to go back to and I've been here for 5 years.

Whatever you do, do NOT go to the office on the corner of 163 and Horace Harding ( I can't remember the name of the practice) but they're HORRIBLE IN THERE.

I live in queens but I go to my gyno in Manhasset [nassau]

Her name is Helen Greco, MD, FACOG

516-390-9242

1554 Northern Blvd 5th Floor
Manhasset NY 11030

Its the Ann & Jules Gottlieb Women's Comprehensive Center which is a part of North Shore LIJ Health System which is the first reason I go there..

Second she is an amazing doctor, very thorough with her exam and she just makes you feel comfortable.

and Third, she found a lump that no other gyno could feel and she saved me from what could of turned into cancer down the road.

I have been through 12 Gynos [bcuz I am extremily picky] and finally found one I plan on sticking with. I recommend her to ALL!

if youre willing to go to NYC- this place is fabulous!

normally little to no wait. staff is very friendly and knowledgable. the clerks, nurses, nurses aides all were great.

Dr. LaJoie & Dr. Buxbaum are the two ive seen in the past.

unfortunately i dont go there anymore bc i no longer lived in the city- otherwise id still be there

Here's another NYC one...Dr. Lily Wong. She is very sweet, calm, and intelligent. I found her through some girls in my old office. Good luck!

I used to go to Melissa Oppenheim in Lake Success. I stopped going to her because she has no 'bedside manner.'

Now I go to Dr. Steven Cohen in Woodbury, but I think he has a Little Neck office too. He's a nice guy and a great doctor - highly recommended!
