NWR: Haier brand product

As an engagement gift we got a wine refrigerator from my parents who also bought one for themselves. Well after about a month the top chamber stopped working. It was actually HEATING the wine. The same thing happened to my dad's. They were under the warranty and my dad called so they sent 2 new ones. Well guess what both of ours are broken again. This company should be ashamed of itself selling defective products like this. I feel so bad for my dad as it was a gift for us and he feels terrible. I will never buy another Haier product ever again...

I'm so sorry to hear this, but thank you so much for posting. We have a Haier wine refrigerator on our registry. Guess I need to change it!

Re: NWR: Haier brand product

it could just be that they make crappy fridges.

i bought a Hamilton Beach blender and had it break after a year or sooner and refused to buy their products again. However, as i was looking for a coffee urn recently and did my research, HB seems to make the best one and it beat out the real expensive ones. I guess they make decent non-electronics lol.

def look on Amazon for reviews if you want another one

I just went online to look for reviews and they have very mixed reviews for the product I have - In my search I also found that this past April they recalled some toaster ovens that had a shock/burn hazard. We also bought an air conditioner and a fan from them which are both very crappy so no more haier for me...

Sorry to go on about this but I forgot to mention that the first one also was missing shelves so when I called them up since I didn't have the reciept (since it was a gift) that I would have to BUY them. Well they told me it was going to be 15 bucks so I agreed - the woman took my credit card number but told me she couldn't find the part number but she would email me when they did. Well they never charged me and never sent the part they don't even have replacement parts for their products.
