NWR: Hair places in Nassau - Updated

So the usual place I get my hair done at on SI is booked this Saturday. Since I want instant gratification and will be in LI Friday night into Saturday at FH's, anyone have any recommendations for a reasonably priced hair salon that may not be booked this close to Saturday. I just need a trim and blowout (my hair is curly and can be pretty frizzy in the warmer weather so it needs to be a good one lol). FH lives in Floral Park but anywhere around the area is fine, I don't mind the drive. Also, I figure eventually it might be nice to switch over to a salon in LI for once I move there. Just curious....

TIA!

UPDATE: I went with Adriana's recommendation bc she sold me on the blowout and the price is around what I usually pay (I regularly get a really good deal lol). Thanks so much for all the input, can always count on you girls!!

I go to Fox & Company Salon & Spa in Floral Park.

If you go, ask for Lisa and tell her I sent you. She's awesome! I've been going to her since I was like 15.

Re: NWR: Hair places in Nassau

i have been researching curly hair places, and i read a lot of reviews about COLORS of Cold Spring Harbor. The girl that does curlies is Jenn. I had a consult with her last week and she seemed sweet and knowledgeable.

From what I read her cuts were reasonable and she is devachan-trained, which is great.

I havent actually gone to her yet because im contemplating different treatments, but she sounded like she knew what she was doing. Do a google search and you'll see good reviews.

ETA: can i ask what salon in SI you go to? I used to have a stylist named Michael in Brooklyn. Then he opened a salon in SI, but i havent been there in YEARS! and i dont remember the name of the salon or his last night. Just wondering if there was a chance of finding that salon/stylist again. lol
