Okay, so since it's getting so hot and humid lately, I wanted to get a new straightener for my hair, to help avoid the frizz. I ended up buying the CHI Nano Ceramic Flat Iron which cost about $140, it's the one with the Curved edge plate design to curl, straighten and flip. I do like it, but I just don't feel comfortable with the price especially when we trying to save for a wedding.
My question is, can anyone recommend another straightener that isn't as pricey? I'd greatly appreciate it.
I got one from the kiosk at the Source Mall. They had a 'deal' where you buy two for approx $150. My FMIL and I went in on it together and both of them are still working 18 months later. It actually looked fairly similar to the photo you posted.
HONESTLY..I bought mine at Rite AId for $20 and it works perfect on my curly thick hair....it was a revlon white 2 inch one.....

I have the one in pink. I think it's great. I can straighen my hair or make it wavy/curly.

Remington Wet to Straight. You can buy it at target, walmart, most drugstores. Its about $30. I've had mine for over 2 years and its amazing. Much better than any expensive straightner I've ever had (I have very thick hair that's difficult to straighten and its great)
