Ok I have to let this go. I have had the same person cutting my hair for the last 8 years. She was the only one I trusted and did wonderful things with my hair. I have fine strands and alot of them. Anyway I got my hair trimmed a month and a half ago...it was so-so. So I went back a week later and had her re-trim it - she charged me again. So I figured maybe, just maybe she was having an off week or something. So I went back a few days ago just for a trim and I HATE IT! I dealt with the last trim and adjusted to it. But this time I am ready to cut it all off. My hair only falls to the bottom of my neck and the layers she did this time look funky around the sides - I can't show you since I haven't even taken a picture of it BUT I am torn....should I cut it off or just deal with it and try to grow it out? and I have already decided that I won't be going back which is tough since she is a family friend as well. (and she was supposed to do my hair for the wedding) I'm am actually really upset about this. Here's a pic that Dylan took of me in Maine - granted my hair was up but what do you think of me cutting it like the bottom picture? oh well the pic of me was too big - but check my avatar pic.
I am soooooo picky about my hair it is unbeleivable sometimes!! SO I know how you feel, dont cut it-see if you can find someone to fix it and if they cant just grow it out.

Everytime I get my hair cut or even trimmed its a disaster. My cousin is a hairdresser and when I explained this to her she noted that my hair always looks nice after its grown out a little so the trims and haricuts are probably a good base. Maybe this will happen to you. Your hair might not look good now but its a good base so when your hair grows it will look nice. If you don't like it, even when it has grown out you cut it any way you like. As for the picture you posted, I love the haircut because its cute and spunky but be careful because not all haircuts look the same on everyone. I'm thinking Rachel's hair from friends. Eveyone loved the cut on her, so many got their hair cut the same way but it didn't look good on anyone but her and maybe a select few. If you go to a good hairstylist they should be able to tell you whether or not that style suites your face. Good luck and post some picture of your hair now if you can. It probably doesn't look as bad as you think!

I would see if someone could fix it if possible. Otherwise if you go for the gusto, and cut it, you have the right shape face to go with that cut you posted. Good Luck!!

ah, thanks guys. I guess the hair issue is just causing me to be down about a bunch of other things too. I'm having one of those I am old days. I think I got up this morning and realized my son is going on 8 and that makes me ANCIENT! It sort of just hit me and the hair just added to my poor attitude. But good thing is FH gave me a really big hug and told me to stop worrying....and he told me I could do whatever I wanted with my hair too.

From what you can see in the pic, your hair looks cute, if you really don't like it and you want to try this new style, I say go for it.

What do you mean you feel ancient cause your son is turning 8? So is mine(in May). So here to make you feel better, my son is turning 8 and I'm also 7 months pregnant!!!!
