NWR - Hairdresser?

I have very, very, very thick hair & if I don't blow it out straight its really frizzy. When I get a haircut, the stylist first has to thin out my hair & then cut it, but noone I go to ever gets it right. Does anyone have the same type of hair as me? Can you recommend a hairdresser who can correctly thin out hair in Nassau or Queens? I'm long overdue for a haircut, but I just don't know where do go!
