NWR: Halloween

Okay no one freak, but let's face it the summer is coming to a close. Does anyone besides me love Halloween and/or do anything special for it? FH and I try and come up with a great costume every year and we alternate who gets to pick them - this year is his turn - last year we were super mario and princess peach.

Our problem usually is that we're all dressed up with no where to go! but we still manage to have a good time anyway!

So funny that you should mention this...just the other night FH and I were looking online. Last year we were Snow White and the prince, this year we are thinking either the jetsons or flintstones. His aunt had a party last year and it was soo much fun!!!

LOVE Halloween!! It is bigger than Christmas in FHs family. His cousin decorates the house all crazy. With really nice masks (like masks that are good enough quality for movies) and he sets them up on manequins and puts them in the windows. He also decorates the front lawn and and has some stuff hanging from the side of the house (dummy things - really good quality stuff!). On Halloween, FH and his cousins dress up with some of the masks and costumes and scare everyone that comes by. It is a HUGE thing in his town. People come from all over. You can't even drive down his street Halloween night. It is insane!!

My aunt also has a party that FH and I go and get dressed up every year.

We love Halloween. We went trick or treating 2 years ago and it was great!!!!!!

FH and I always say we're going to go trick or treating but I always back out!

We LOVE halloween! We throw a huge party every year and we don't allow people in if they don't have costumes, and we are dead serious about that and everyone knows it, so everyone always comes in great costumes. I have to say, we have like over 100 people every year and nobody comes in any cheesy costumes ever. Last year, FH and I went as K-Fed and prego Brit Brit. I don't know what we'll do this year. I love the Super Mario and Princess Peach idea!

Maybe we could do that to 'replace' the cancelled LIW/LIF BBQ??

Omg I love Halloween, DH on the other hand doesn't. He refuses to wear a costume, so we can't do the 'couple' thing. But that's ok, I get dressed up with his daughter to go Trick or Treating and some other people at work get dressed.

Last year Janna (BKtoLI) had a Halloween party at her house. She loves the holiday, I think she's planning on having it again this year.

I like Halloween... I know East Wind has a HUGE Halloween Party every year that is really nice and a lot of fun. I, myself, have gone to a costume party at Port Jazz in Port Jeff that they have every year and it was fun.

We were Fred and Wilma Flintstone last year because we look so much like them it's actually scary

Halloween is one of my FAVORITES. I love to decorate and dress up. This will be our first Halloween as homeowners and I have already bought a TON of decorations.

Last year My older son was a Vampire and my little guy was a Bat. FH and I were Vampires also.

This year I think we are going to be Barney and Betty and the Boys will be Bam Bam and Dino. My girlfriend and her husband will be Fred and Wilma and their daughters are going to be Pebbles and a cave baby.
