NWR- Has anybody had or

know somebody who gets Ocular Migraines? I Just got one at work. It is when you get a headache in your eye and your vision gets disturbed for about 20mins and then you get a headache afterward. I have been to the doctor for it but I was just curious if anybody else ever got one.

I get them every 3 months or so. I don't know why. they've got worse since i'm engaged (doesn't surprise me) there usually not terrible, just annoying. however i had one 2 weeks ago that was so bad i actually had to leave work. but not until i could open my eyes a little.

theres nothing u can do about them, but close your eyes try to go to a dark place and just wait for it to go away. they have pills, but i've never taken them so i don't know how well they work.

The first time i described what was going on with me was to my FI. he thought i was going crazy. then after a few times i finally went to an eye dr. since i thought it was from staring at a computer screen 8 hours a day, 7 dayz a week for the last 10 or so years. nope, migraines. atleast i still don't need glasses

I am so glad to hear that other people get them too! ( not that I am glad that you ladies get them-trust me would not wish that on my worst enemy) Everytime I try to explain them to somebody who never heard of them they think I a nut ball!!!

I always say the same thing... i wouldnt wish them to my worst enemy... you arent alone! there are a lot of us... for me, excedrin migraine works best... even better than some of the perscriptions...
