NWR: Has anyone been on the Caribbean Princess

So I just booked our 'familymoon' for this July 11 with Princess Cruises & we're going on the Caribbean Princess-- would like to know if anyone has been on this ship & any info they can give me.....Booked a balcony rm for the 3 of us you think thats will be good for us or go for the mini-suite??

Ohh awesomeee!! Ok so I guess its good since youve gone 2x lol!!

How is it for kids?? Step son is 9 but very mature 9 yr old and we def didnt want to do a Disney cruise

Hows the food?? Have u been on any other cruise lines that u can compare to? We've been on Norweigian & Carnival...We def liked the Norweigian food better

i went last year with FH ... can't speak for the kids programs ... we had a balcony and were comfortable with 2 -- if you mean one of your three is a child, you should be fine ... another adult might be crowded ... the food in the dining room was good but we enjoyed carnival's more ... the service was great -- waiters were very attentive ... if you are comfortable leaving your stepson with the kids program, do you and DH a favor and sign up for the Thermal Suite for couples -- FH was not enthusiastic at first but it was all he talked about when we got home ... the Thermal Suite has 3 saunas and hot stone beds ... *sigh* ... i could've totally slept in there, lol ...

I went 2009 and 2010. When we went this year there was alot of older people on the ship, which is fine by me, but the other time I went it was August and there were a fair amount of younger people. I have been on a cruiseline that is no longer around anymore and Norweigian. As far as I am concerned Princess blows the other cruiselines away!!!!!! I totally hated Norweigians food and service. They had people walking around with their luggage cause their rooms weren't ready when they came on the ship!!! Princess has amazing food which I consider the quality of an upscale rest. Although I never felt the need to spend the extra money, they have a rest called sabatinis that serves a 17 course meal, I heard a lot of good things about it, you should do it!!!!!They have a buffet which has a different theme each night they had mexican, indian, asian. The movies under the stars is amazing they give u a blanket and have popcorn so you can layout on the lounge chairs in the open air and watch movies!!!! I had a pepperoni pizza with my popcorn every night!!!!! FM me if you want to know more, where r u going?

Wow thanks sooo much girls.. we cant wait to go now!!

Yeah the 3rd person is my stepson so I just hope we're comfortable in the balcony room!!

We are going to Gran Turk Island, Puerto Rico, Bermuda, & Turks & Caicaos(?)!!
