NWR- has anyone here ever changed careers

I have been thinking about going back to school for awhile. Currently, I'm an art therapist and my job is ok. I just think I want to do something else. I was thinking about going back to school to become a school counselor or a school psychologist. However, when I think of spending all that $$$ again, I'm not so sure. Any advice? TIA

I'm a career changer!! I dropped everything and went back to school for my Master's in Education. I'm about to begin my new career as a teacher - in fact, I've already got a job for September. Going back to school was expensive, I won't lie - I had to take out a fair amount of education loans to make ends meet - but I don't regret my decision. It's the smartest thing I've ever done!!

Best of luck to you!

HAH!!!!!!!! yes!! I starte off in health care, was not making much and working crazy hours. I quit before even getting another job lined up, that was how bad it was. THen I decided I wantd to do something the total opposite of healthcare so one day I said 'I'm onna got o wall Street' 6 years later I am still here, love where I am and am making nice money.

Moral of my story... sometimes you have to take a chance.
