NWR: health question

I have high triglycerides and low platelets

love when the doc calls and just tells you the results but not what they mean

any ideas? my next appt isnt for a while
i have to go for an xray before i go back so i dont want to go back JUST for the blood results

i looked it up and it looks like both can be connected to thyroid problems?

Unfortunately I have no idea but I would like to think that if it was something serious the doctor would have given you more information up front and not been so lax about when your next appointment is.

Hope you get more info soon -- but I am sure everything will be just fine!

Yes, it is possible that it is related to hypothyroidism. I am sure if the doctor thought it was a big cause for concern he would want to see you right away, so try not to worry about it too much. Good luck!!

no medical help whatsoever but i wanted to offer some hugs.
i know how frustrating and scary it can be when doctors do that.
i'm sure if it was anything super serious he would have told you to come in to discuss it.

As the girls have said I am sure if the doctor was concerned he would make you come in right away. I am sure you are ok. I know it can be scary. I usually go after results so what does that mean. Is it bad..haha Keep us updated.

I was about to google this for you (and I did) but so many random things popped up it isn't worth it. I wouldn't stress out over it, I'm sure it isn't anything serious or the doctor would be more concerned.
