NWR: Help!

I need to make reservations for 10 at an Italian restaurant in Manhattan for Saturday night! I was supposed to call Carmine's but I forgot and they are booked!! Does anyone have any suggestions? We want something casual and not outrageously proces. We want Italian because my friends are running the marathon on Sunday and need to carb-up. I don't really know alot of restaurants...any ideas? Preferebly in the midtown area or in little italy. We could just walk around but I want to make reservations since therea re 10 of us.
TIA!!!!!!

Re: NWR: Help!

Try Osso Bucco (sp?) near 15th and University. It's family style, like Carmine's. They accommodate big groups well.

Re: NWR: Help!

Try Tony's DiNapoli on the upper east side. Family style like Carmines...but even better.

Try La Mela's in Little Italy. The food is incredible!

Another is Basta Pasta Ristorante Italian. Never been there but here the pasta is plentiful and delicious.
