NWR: Help -- any counselors in NYC or CT???

I have to do an internship just for the semester (a few hours a week) for my last semester of school. I'm a psyc major and all I would need to do is observe. I'm looking for a guidance office (or something similar) in which I could come in once in a while and just observe and maybe help out with tasks here and there. I had other options lined up but they all fell through and its now 5 weeks into the semester I dont know what to do!!!! I could do it either in NYC (around the NYU area) or in CT.

Any suggestions would help.
