NWR: help me plan something special for my BFF! (reposted)
ok, my best friend turns 25 the beginning of january. she has already warned me and everyone else she will be mourning (long story) the entire week plus she's never had good birthdays, ever (like family members dying). so i've decided i want to plan something great for probably the end of january, that way she wont be expecting it but it'll still be special, but i need ideas, help! i was thinking maybe a mini-trip or something, i know her boss so i could always put in the time for her at work without her knowing.

awwww you're such a great friend.
Well what type of things does she like doing? does she like going out and partying or is she more laid back?
a mini-trip sounds great. Maybe do a spa retreat if she would like that, or go to AC. You want something within driving distance right?
I guess tell us more about her, and her personality to figure out what might be good for her.

well we used to go to concerts and shows like, every weekend, but we dont do that much anymore. she's not a big party-er but she also isnt the spa type. i was thinking AC but the one time i was there it was not too impressive. she loves animals, so maybe if theres a near by state with an amazing zoo? lol or maybe some awesome zoo program thing i could get her into for the day.

is there a concert in january that she would love to go to. I used to love going to concerts and that would be a great gift. I would look up her favorite bands and artists to see if they have a show coming up.

If you can find a concert that would be awesome..I love my little rock n roll road trips! Any weekend away would be really cool..3 gfs and I went to Boston for a weekend 2 winters agao and had a blast..its a fun city!

What about Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun....they have some GREAT concerts at Mohegan Sun and it is gorgeous there!!!!....and it is just a ferry ride over to CT
