My glue gun burn is definitely not healing very well. I put Peroxide on it every other day to clean it out and Bacitracin on it every day so it wouldn't get infected but I think it's still starting to become infected. Just my pinky though, I mentioned to FH that it hurts alot still and he then noticed it was swollen yesterday. Is there anything else other than Bacitracin that I could put on this to help prevent an infection?

Re: NWR: Help with a burn?!?!
neosporin does wonders or maybe try a burn cream- but if its not looking good by monday- you should go to the doctor and let him give you a prescrition cream.

neosporin is an antibiotic cream and if she is getting an infection that's what she needs.

Wow so I think I have a second degree burn...I got burnt over 2 weeks ago now and I'm far from healed.
It sounds that way, also, on the websites I found, they all recommend that silvadene stuff the other girls were talking about. But I would definitely make an appt with your dermatologist.
