NWR: Help with Choosing a Vacuum

I am going to be living in a small space - Does anyone have any vacuum recommendations? Something inexpensive. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars right now. I would love something that is a little more compact than most considering storing it may be an issue.

I was looking at the Eureka brand but I don't think it has gotten many good reviews.

What do you girls think?
TIA!!!!

I always hear good things about the sharks and they are supposed to be lightweight and compact.

It's a little on the larger/heavier side but I love LOVE my Bissel pet hair vacuum... and I would take the reviews with a grain of salt becuase people tend to post negative ones abotu things like that more often than when they are happy with their product.

I've had my vacuum for about 3 years and never a problem. It's awesome. and I live in a small 2 BR in Queens.

I have a Bissel too and am quite happy with it.
